Our Executive Chef, Dane Tobias, has designed a contemporary menu of modern Australian cuisine that perfectly reflects the South Coast. The menu changes seasonally to highlight the best of each season's ingredients and bring out their natural flavours.   We proudly showcase local Illawarra and Shoalhaven suppliers and produce.

Dane has an impressive background, having worked with Jamie Oliver and Rick Stein. He has catered many celebrity events, some highlights being Michael Schumachers's 38th birthday in Monte Carlo and private functions for former US President Bill Clinton and celebrities such as David Hasselhoff, Claudia Schiffer and Sting.

Bella Char is truly a memorable feast for all the senses; a beautiful space, incredible menu, and top class customer services. Dine inside the restaurant or casually outside in the courtyard or terrace. All options are chic, modern and delightfully comfortable.

  • Early Bird Menu: 5:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. Monday to Saturday.
  • Happy Hour: Fridays and Saturdays, 5:00 p.m. - 6:00 pm.
  • High Tea: First Saturday of each month. Bookings are essential.
